Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 guest assistance including check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services
- Monitor hotel security systems and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for seamless operations
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
- Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts including cash handling
- Conduct nightly audits and prepare shift reports for management
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and hotel standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or hospitality experience required
- Availability to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM) including weekends
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Valid Washington DC Food Handler's/Seller's Permit preferred
- Basic knowledge of hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Customer service certification a plus
