Responsibilities
- Perform nightly front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs for late arrivals.
- Conduct financial reconciliation of the day's hotel transactions and post to the Property Management System (PMS).
- Monitor hotel security systems and perimeter to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly with a focus on problem resolution.
- Generate and review nightly reports, including occupancy, revenue, and operational metrics.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area during quiet hours.
- Assist in light maintenance tasks or housekeeping coordination as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business degree preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or night audit is a plus.
- Must be available to work full-time night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office and PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during low-traffic periods.
