As the Night Shift Manager, you will be the face of our property during the quiet hours, ensuring security, comfort, and top-tier service for our late arrivals and business travelers.
Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight: Manage all front desk activities, including check-ins, check-outs, and phone coverage.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently to ensure a seamless overnight experience.
- Security & Safety: Conduct nightly security rounds, ensure fire safety protocols are in place, and monitor surveillance systems.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and mentor the night shift staff, including housekeeping and security teams.
- Inventory Management: Track room status, manage key access, and oversee the night audit process.
- Emergency Response: Handle any emergency situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with local authorities if necessary.
- Maintenance Liaison: Coordinate with the engineering department to address maintenance requests and room readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in hospitality management or a supervisory role.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Character: Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
