Responsibilities
- Oversee overnight front desk, security, and housekeeping operations
- Handle guest check-ins/check-outs, VIP requests, and emergency situations
- Coordinate with day shift teams for smooth transition of responsibilities
- Monitor property security systems and implement safety protocols
- Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and key systems
- Train and mentor night shift staff on service excellence
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel management experience with night shift exposure
- Proven crisis management and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- NYC Food Handler & ServSafe certifications preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of NYC hospitality regulations
- Excellent communication in English (Spanish a plus)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
