Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of all night shift departments (Front Desk, Security, Housekeeping, Engineering)
- Implement and maintain service excellence standards during overnight hours
- Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and professional development
- Oversee safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and risk management
- Coordinate with day shift management for operational continuity
- Handle guest complaints and VIP requests with discretion and efficiency
- Review daily operations reports and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain brand standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years hotel management experience with 2+ years in night shift operations
- Proven leadership in luxury or premium-service hotel environments
- Strong knowledge of hotel PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio preferred)
- Certified in CPR/First Aid and emergency management protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off-peak hours
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's and Security Manager certifications
