As a key member of our overnight staff, you'll ensure seamless operations from 11 PM to 7 AM, safeguarding guest experiences while the city sleeps. This role offers career advancement opportunities within our international hotel chain.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests during overnight hours
- Monitor security systems and patrol premises to ensure guest and property safety
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for urgent overnight requests
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally following established protocols
- Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate guest records
- Assist with valet services and luggage handling for late arrivals/departures
- Execute deep cleaning procedures in public areas during low-traffic hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or hospitality experience required
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (for valet duties)
- Proficient in hotel management software (Opera, Fidelio)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of New Orleans geography and attractions
