Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to company standards.
- Restocking: Ensure all amenities, linens, and supplies are restocked and organized for the next shift.
- Quality Control: Perform spot checks and inspections to ensure all work meets the Grand Harbor Hotel quality assurance criteria.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or broken furniture to the supervisor immediately.
- Guest Services: Provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere for late-night guests, including answering the phone and door.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housekeeping cart inventory to prevent shortages.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable work history.
