Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: warmly welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and setting the tone for their stay.
- Guest Services: efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, verifying information and collecting payments accurately.
- Communication: handle incoming calls and emails professionally, responding to inquiries about reservations, amenities, and local Atlanta attractions.
- Problem Solving: address guest complaints or requests with a solution-oriented mindset, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Lobby Management: maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and reception spaces.
- Concierge Support: provide directions and recommendations for dining, entertainment, and business services within the city.
- Administrative Tasks: perform light administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and managing daily logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hospitality management certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or reception work is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Schedule: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
- Professionalism: Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
