Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy and a warm welcome for all guests.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails promptly, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
- Maintain a pristine lobby and common areas, ensuring the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict adherence to company policies and security protocols.
- Assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and any special requests to enhance their stay.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and maintain property standards.
- Utilize property management software (PMS) to update guest profiles and track room status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Strong verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
