Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out procedures using Opera PMS
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Utilize yield management strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue
- Update reservation systems and maintain detailed guest preference profiles
- Conduct property tours and provide local attraction recommendations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience in luxury hotel setting
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Minneapolis attractions and transportation
