As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. We offer a competitive hourly wage, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests warmly, ensuring a smooth arrival experience.
- Process check-outs efficiently, including handling payments and answering questions regarding local attractions.
- Manage reservations and room assignments accurately using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing guest inquiries and requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services, providing recommendations and directions for dining and entertainment in Nashville.
- Handle minor guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk, reception, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
