Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and provide information regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Operations: Monitor the front desk area, answer multi-line telephone systems, and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Administrative: Process payments accurately, maintain guest histories, and update reservation systems using property management software.
- Security: Ensure the safety and security of guests and property by adhering to key control procedures and monitoring surveillance systems.
- Communication: Relay messages between guests and departments, such as housekeeping or maintenance, to ensure a seamless stay.
- Visuals: Maintain a tidy, organized, and aesthetically pleasing reception area that reflects the hotel's premium standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous front desk or customer service experience is preferred; entry-level candidates with strong hospitality training will be considered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high standard of personal grooming.
