Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS) while verifying payment and identification.
- Answer incoming phone calls with a professional demeanor and route inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements to ensure a memorable stay.
- Monitor the lobby area to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately and prepare daily financial reports.
- Assist with concierge services, including directions and local attraction recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as part of our shift work schedule.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- A friendly, approachable, and problem-solving mindset.
