Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or in-person promptly.
- Provide local recommendations and concierge services to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office or hotel PMS systems.
- Fluency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for local transportation.
