Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, utilizing hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking accurate messages and reservations as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and public areas.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Process payments and balance daily financial transactions accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
