Responsibilities
- Provide personalized recommendations for local attractions, dining, and entertainment
- Manage guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Coordinate transportation arrangements and special requests
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams for seamless service
- Process guest check-ins/check-outs efficiently using hotel management systems
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Assist with event planning and VIP guest arrangements
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or concierge experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Kansas City's landmarks and cultural offerings
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with reservation systems (Opera, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Valid Missouri driver's license (for occasional errands)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
