Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while verifying reservations and payment methods
- Manage room assignments using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues with professionalism
- Process payments, maintain accurate financial records, and balance cash drawers
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Sell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all shift operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or front desk experience
- Proficiency with hotel management software (Opera, Opera Cloud)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for financial transactions
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license (if required for local errands)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
