Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front desk service including check-in/out, guest inquiries, and issue resolution
- Manage room reservations and coordinate housekeeping/maintenance requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Execute daily safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain pristine lobby and common area standards
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., Opera, PMS)
- Valid California driver's license (if required for airport runs)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of San Jose attractions and transportation
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
