Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to brand standards.
- Inventory Management: Restock amenities such as soap, shampoo, and linens to ensure a fully stocked room for incoming guests.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or leaking faucets, to the engineering department immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage your workload to ensure all rooms are cleaned within the allotted shift time.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with guests, addressing inquiries or requests with a friendly demeanor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis. Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
