Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring all fixtures are sparkling and supplies are replenished.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop all assigned areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items in guest rooms and public spaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special event setups as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
