Responsibilities
- Maintain pristine guest rooms and common areas with attention to detail
- Execute deep cleaning protocols including carpet care, upholstery, and sanitization
- Manage inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
- Adhere to brand standards and safety regulations
- Coordinate with maintenance team for room readiness
- Handle guest requests with discretion and professionalism
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- 2+ years professional housekeeping experience
- Valid DC work permit and clean background check
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency in English (Spanish fluency a plus)
- Knowledge of EPA-approved cleaning chemicals
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Physical stamina to lift 25 lbs regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
