Responsibilities

- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and industry thought leaders
- Identify and quantify disruptive threats/opportunities across 15+ vertical markets
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports with predictive analytics
- Collaborate with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with $50M+ potential
- Represent company at Davos-style global innovation summits
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed futures studies journals
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year predictive accuracy
- Expertise in AI ethics, climate adaptation, or neurotech convergence
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
