Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology landscape (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Produce foresight reports and scenario planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Identify disruptive opportunities through patent analysis and academic research collaboration
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and tech conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, neurotech)
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking abilities
- Experience with patent landscaping and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management across executive and technical teams
