This pivotal role combines foresight analysis, cross-industry trend synthesis, and executive strategy development to position our organization at the vanguard of technological and societal transformation.
As a thought leader within our Global Strategy division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and emerging tech pioneers to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate existential risks. Your work will directly influence $500M+ in strategic investments and shape our organizational DNA for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year horizon scanning frameworks identifying emerging technologies, socio-political shifts, and market disruptions affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops synthesizing AI, biotech, climate resilience, and quantum computing trends into actionable strategic scenarios
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and innovation roadmaps with quantitative/qualitative risk assessments
- Manage a $2M annual innovation portfolio, evaluating and scaling high-impact ventures in Web3, neurotech, and sustainable systems
- Represent the organization at Davos, CES, and other future-focused forums as a keynote speaker and thought leader
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist analysts while establishing industry-standard foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep technical literacy in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with documented executive-level influence (e.g., board presentations, TED-style talks)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Innovation Management, or equivalent field
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry thought leadership platforms
