Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and societal trends to forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future products, services, and business models
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through agile experimentation
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive leadership and influence high-stakes decisions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and visualizations communicating future opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation strategies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven decision making
- Published thought leadership in futures, innovation, or strategic foresight domains
