Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and scenario-planning documents
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future-proofing principles into roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists and industry thought leaders
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward adaptive innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or corporate foresight role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategic narratives
