Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to map potential futures for emerging tech domains
- Collaborate with R&D to translate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global futurist networks
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-technology symbiosis
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodologies like Delphi and causal layered analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in tech or Fortune 500 environments
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (SWOT, STEEP, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic predictions
