Responsibilities
- Direct all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and event coordination
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and guest satisfaction goals
- Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of 75+ hospitality professionals
- Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control initiatives
- Oversee property maintenance and vendor relationships
- Drive innovative guest experience programs and service standards
- Collaborate with sales team to maximize occupancy and profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (required)
- Minimum 7 years progressive hotel management experience (required)
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in luxury/premium segments
- Strong expertise in PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds) and revenue management
- Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities
- Deep knowledge of Houston's hospitality market and tourism trends
- CHIA or similar industry certification preferred
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency a plus
