Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, climate tech, and emerging markets
- Develop quantitative future models using trend analysis and scenario planning frameworks
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with cross-functional leadership
- Author annual 'Future State' reports and innovation briefings for the board
- Identify and evaluate exponential technologies for potential integration
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future projections into actionable business strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven experience developing 5+ year future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives
