Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes with speed and precision
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate with housekeeping/management
- Process payments and maintain accurate reservation records
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain clean and organized front desk area
- Operate PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and communication tools
- Collaborate with security team during emergency situations
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with reservation systems and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Basic knowledge of Chicago landmarks and transportation
- Valid Illinois driver's license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
