Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Process check-ins, check-outs, and room changes efficiently using the hotel property management system.
- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and walk-ins, with professionalism and courtesy.
- Resolve guest complaints and inquiries immediately to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assist with luggage handling, local transportation recommendations, and concierge services.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front desk area.
- Handle cash transactions and balance daily reports accurately at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Oracle Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
