Responsibilities
- Handle guest check-in/check-out procedures with speed and accuracy
- Manage reservations via property management systems (Opera)
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism
- Process payments and maintain secure cash handling procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Upsell hotel amenities and services
- Maintain detailed shift reports and guest records
- Ensure lobby area remains pristine at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/customer service experience
- Proficiency with reservation software (Opera, Sabre preferred)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Basic math and cash handling accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid CA driver's license (if driving required)
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish a plus
