Mesa Valley Resorts is currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Hotel General Manager to lead our operations in the heart of Mesa, Arizona. Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage service.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue, increase occupancy rates, and maximize profitability.
- Manage the hotel budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and high employee retention.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and brand standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and local community partners.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to staff to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, preferably in a full-service property.
- Proven track record of successful budget management and P&L responsibility.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
