Responsibilities
- Room Sanitization: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas according to strict hotel standards.
- Amenity Preparation: Ensure rooms are fully stocked with fresh linens, toiletries, and amenities to meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Quality Control: Conduct detailed inspections of rooms to ensure quality control and identify any maintenance needs or damage.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report on the usage and shortage of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and linens.
- Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a professional and welcoming manner, addressing any immediate concerns or requests.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times, including proper chemical handling.
- Team Collaboration: Assist fellow staff members as needed to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not strictly required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods, including bending and reaching.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is essential to maintain the high standards of our luxury property.
- Reliability: Punctuality and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills to follow instructions and interact with guests.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
