Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management systems
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations with precision
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Process payments accurately and maintain secure cash handling procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments
- Upsell hotel amenities, dining packages, and room upgrades
- Maintain detailed guest preference records for personalized service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera, PMS, or similar hotel management software
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Minneapolis attractions and transportation
- Valid Minnesota food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
