Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage hotel reservations, answer incoming calls, and address guest inquiries via email and in person.
- Handle cash handling, credit card transactions, and verify charges with precision and integrity.
- Ensure the front lobby, reception area, and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues immediately to ensure a 5-star guest experience and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with special requests and coordinate seamlessly with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- Process payments, update guest accounts, and prepare nightly reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs) when assisting with luggage.
