Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls with a professional tone and route inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Manage the front desk operations, including handling mail, packages, and guest requests in a timely manner.
- Process payments and verify credit card information securely.
- Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with concierge requests, including local recommendations and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals and departures in the property management system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Previous experience in a front desk role is a plus.
