Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally, redirecting to the appropriate department or providing accurate information.
- Process payments, issue room keys, and manage all front desk administrative duties accurately and securely.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly, escalating complex matters to management while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Monitor the lobby and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and reports regarding guest arrivals, departures, and special requests.
- Assist in training new staff members and ensuring adherence to company standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, guest services, or hospitality role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
