Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through check-in/out assistance, concierge support, and personalized recommendations
- Manage weekend room status updates, key assignments, and VIP guest requests
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for seamless operations
- Handle billing inquiries, payment processing, and reservation modifications
- Execute safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Maintain immaculate lobby, lounge, and common area standards
- Process weekend check-ins/outs efficiently using Opera property management system
Qualifications
- 1+ years hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Flexible weekend availability (Fri-Sun) including holidays
- Proficient in property management systems (Opera, Delphi) or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- Positive attitude under pressure and during high-volume periods
