Your Role
As a Weekend Hospitality Specialist, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, answer inquiries, and assist with special requests to ensure a seamless stay.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival using the hotel's standard operating procedures.
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes, including printing folios and processing payments efficiently.
- Manage the front desk switchboard and respond to guest inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to ensure a professional appearance.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience, empathy, and a commitment to resolution.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Process wake-up calls, room service orders, and coordinate valet parking services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, front desk operations, or hotel management is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (PMS) is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- A valid driver's license is required.
