Responsibilities
- Seamlessly manage guest check-ins/check-outs using hotel management systems
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with proactive problem-solving
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for optimal operations
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Upsell premium rooms, dining packages, and local attractions
- Maintain meticulous front desk appearance and supply inventory
- Execute emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Train weekend staff on operational standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or high-volume customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera or similar PMS software
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible weekend availability (Fri/Sat/Sun shifts)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic accounting and cash handling expertise
- Valid Virginia hospitality certification preferred
- Positive attitude with genuine service orientation
