Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service during peak weekend hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and concierge support
- Manage room inventory and coordinate housekeeping team for weekend turnover
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly using our property management system
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial documentation for weekend transactions
- Collaborate with dining and event teams to ensure seamless weekend operations
- Uphold brand standards and safety protocols across all public areas
- Train weekend staff on new procedures and seasonal promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or customer service experience required
- Availability to work all weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) including holidays
- Proficiency with hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments during peak hours
- Valid Texas Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of Houston tourism attractions and local transportation
- Flexible attitude toward rotating weekend schedules
