Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management software
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Provide local recommendations and assistance to enhance guest experiences
- Monitor room availability and optimize reservation systems
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with proactive problem-solving
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, FOSSE preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced weekend environments
- Valid North Carolina Food Handler/Seller certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Flexible weekend availability (Saturdays/Sundays 6AM-2PM or 2PM-10PM)
- Basic knowledge of Raleigh attractions and transportation options
