Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations efficiently during peak weekend hours.
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary documentation and payments are processed accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor building security and safety protocols, including key card access and alarm systems.
- Assist in housekeeping coordination to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
- Process daily deposits, reconcile cash drawers, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform nightly audits and prepare reports for the front office manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in front desk operations or customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is preferred.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
