Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations during weekend shifts, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes.
- Greet guests warmly and handle all inquiries, complaints, and requests with a focus on problem-solving and satisfaction.
- Manage room assignments, VIP arrivals, and special requests to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and financial transactions using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Enforce safety and security protocols to protect guests and hotel assets.
- Assist in training junior staff and supporting the front office team during peak times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Hospitality is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or customer service.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light objects.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
