Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and answer inquiries regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage phone calls and emails professionally, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and maintain the reception area in pristine condition.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned promptly for incoming weekend guests.
- Security & Safety: Monitor the premises to ensure the safety of guests and property, reporting any maintenance issues or irregularities immediately to management.
- Revenue Management: Upsell hotel services and packages to guests to maximize revenue opportunities during busy weekend shifts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and maintenance staff to resolve guest issues and ensure a seamless stay experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks with precision, particularly regarding financial transactions and cleanliness standards.
- Technology Proficiency: Basic computer skills and comfort with property management systems (PMS) are a plus.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
