Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest services including check-in/check-out, concierge assistance, and personalized recommendations
- Manage room status updates and coordinate housekeeping services for optimal guest satisfaction
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain a positive brand image
- Operate hotel management systems efficiently to ensure accurate billing and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless weekend operations
- Uphold strict cleanliness and safety standards throughout all public and back-of-house areas
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile daily transactions accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hotel or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Property Management Systems)
- Basic knowledge of San Antonio attractions and local services
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
