Responsibilities
- Room Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture to ensure a spotless appearance.
- Bedding & Linens: Strip beds and replace linens with fresh, crisp hotel-quality bedding and towels.
- Amenity Management: Restock toiletries, mini-bars, and cleaning supplies to maintain full amenities for incoming guests.
- Sanitation Standards: Adhere to strict health and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and promptly report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the engineering department.
- Laundry Services: Sort, wash, and fold linens and towels efficiently to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests politely and address any immediate cleanliness concerns during room turnover.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail to ensure every corner is immaculate.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet daily cleaning quotas.
- Communication Skills: Basic English proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and guests.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
