Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Bed Making: Ensure all beds are made with crisp linens and arranged to perfection.
- Restocking: Maintain an inventory of amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) and restock supplies as needed.
- Guest Service: Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the engineering department immediately.
- Laundry: Sort, wash, fold, and press linens and towels as required.
- Documentation: Complete accurate daily cleaning checklists and time cards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure every corner is spotless.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable work history.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
