Responsibilities
- Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and assign corrective tasks to the housekeeping staff.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of room attendants and cleaners to ensure productivity and morale.
- Manage inventory, including stocking supplies and reporting shortages.
- Ensure all safety and security protocols are followed during the shift.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the turnover process between shifts to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality management preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Must pass a background check.
